Help me understand how do you get 10 in this problem?

Simplify.
3(2u - 5) - 4(u + 4)
6u - 15 = -4u + -16
6u - 15 + 15 = -4u + -16 + 5
6u = -4u = -1
6u = -4u + -4 = -1 + -4
6u =?

How do you solve the rest? I don't understand how you get 10 in this problem, help me understand it step by step please.

Answer:

-1/10=u

Step-by-step explanation:

3(2u-5)=-4(u+4)

6u-15=-4u-16

6u+4u=15-16

10u=-1

u=-1/10

fill value of u

3(2u-5)=-4(u+4)

3(2×-1/10-5)=-4(-1/10+4)

3(-2/10-5)=-4(-1/10+4)

3{(-2-50)/10}=-4{(-1+40)/10}

3(-52/10)=-4(39/10)

-156/10=-156/10

15.6=15.6
