The main reason of space walk is that it has very less gravity due to which all the things in the space usually floats in it's atmosphere which is around it.

so,in order to walk in space people usually wear a space suit which helps them to control their walk in space although in the condition of low gravity in the space.

1. No atmosphere, have to wear pressurised space suit or your blood will boil and lungs burst
2. You can't walk like you do on ground, you use hands to push or pull yourself by holding onto the spacecraft apparatus
3. All astronauts have a teather attached(a wire) for safety if they accidently push themselves away from the spacecraft they will forever be lost in Space, tethering prevents that
4. They carry oxygen too, but that's a obvio.
