Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

let thepoints be p(2y,y) q(2,-5)and r(-3,6)

acc. to the question, pq=pr

squaring on both sides,

pq²=pr²

[√(2y-2)²+(y--5)²]²=[√(2y--3)²+(y-6)²]²

=4y²-8y+4+y²+10y+25=4y²+12y+9+y²-12y+36

[4y²,y²,12y,-12y get cancelled]

-8y+29=45

=-8y=45-29

=-8y=16

=y=16/-8

=y=-2.

x=2y=2*2=4.

p=[4,2]
