1. yes angle 1 is adjacent to angle 2

• as they have common vertex O
• they have common arm OC
• OA and OB are the uncommon arms on the either side of common arm

2. no they are not adjacent

3. yes <COE and <EOD form a linear pair

• two adjacent angles are said to form a linear pair , if their non -common arms are two opposite rays

OC and OD are two opposite rays , <COE and <EOD are the adjacent angles

4. angles whose sum is 180 degree is called supplementary angles

hence, <BOD and <DOA are supplementary as they form a linear pair

5. <1 and <4 are vertically opposite angles

6. vertically opposite angles - when two lines intersect each other and the angles opposite which are formed vertically and horizontally is called vertically opposite angles

1.yes <1 is adjacent to <2 as they heve a common vertex OC.

2.no <AOC is not adjacent to <AOE as <AOE is made of <AOC and <COE.

3.yes these both angles form a linear pair as their sum os 180°.

4.yes angle BOD and angle DOA are supplementary as their sum is 180°.

5.yes <1 and <4 are V.O.<s as they are made of only 2 lines that are AB and CD.
