Clearly it cuts x axis at 2 points A and B

So, put y = 0

3x² + 7x - 2 =0

on solving this we will get two values of x one for A and other for B

Using quadratic formula,

x = [-7 ± √(49 - 4*3*-2)] / 2*3

solve it to get x =  0.25 and -2.59

As from graph A is negative so A ≡ ( -2.59,0)
