s = 16t^2

velocity, v = ds/dt = 32t

velocity at 3 sec = 32*3 = 96 ft per sec

velocity at 2.4 sec = 32*2.4 = 76.8 ft per sec

acceleration, a = dv/dt = 32 ft per sec^2

a at 3 sec and 2.4 sec = 32 ft per sec^2
