It's a right angled ∆ as
BC^2 + AB^2 = CA^2
11^2 + 60^2 = 61^2
Now, Altitude is the perpendicular drawn from the vertex opposite to the side.
From figure we can see altitude to the smallest side BC is AB =60cm.
So option D is correct.
Also,the seem to be a misprint as in statement length is given in metres and in options it is given in centimetres.
