So ΔOAP is congruent to ΔOBP

Angle OPA = ANGLE OPB

but as AB is a straight line

Angle OPA + Angle OPB = 180°

2×ANGLE OPA= 2×ANGLE OPB = 180°

ANGLE OPA = ANGLE OPB = 90°

SO OP is perpendicular to AB
