As the wedge to which the masses are attached are in equilibrium so the horizontal component of mass m1 will be equal to the horizontal component of mass m2.

⇒ m1sin 60=m2 sin 30

Thus the ratio of the masses m1 and m2 will be

⇒ m1*root3/2=m2*1/2

⇒ root3 m1=m2

⇒ m1/m2=1/root 3
