Answer :-
Length of the wire is is 0.628 m .
Explanation :-
We have :-
→ Radius of the wire = 0.01 cm = 10⁻⁴ m
→ Resistance = 10 Ω
→ Resistivity = 50 × 10⁻⁸ Ωm
________________________________
Firstly, let's calculate the area of cross section of the wire.
⇒ A = πr²
⇒ A = 3.14 × 10⁻⁴ × 10⁻⁴
⇒ A = 3.14 × 10⁻⁸ m²
________________________________
Now, we know that :-
R = ρl/A
Substituting values, we get :-
⇒ 10 = [50 × 10⁻⁸ × l]/[3.14 × 10⁻⁸]
⇒ 10 = 50/3.14 × l
⇒ 10 = 15.92l
⇒ l = 10/15.92
⇒ l = 0.628 m
