Face of a cube is a square

So, side * side = 49 sq.cm

side = 7 cm

So volume of the large cube is 7*7*7 = 343 cu. cm

Volume of smaller cube 0.7*0.7*0.7 =0.343 cu. cm

So dividing volume of larger cube by smaller cube to get numbers of small cubes

343/0.343 = 1000.

So there would be 1000 such small cubes.
