Calculate (use the formula) how much work was done to lift a 1,000 kg block to the top of the Great Pyramid, 146 m above ground?

given,

mass of the object = 1000 kg  

height = 146 meter acceleration due to gravity = 9.8 m/s²

but for easy calculation we will take acceleration due to gravity as

= 10 m/s²  

therefore work done ,

W = m * g * h

W = 1000 * 10 * 146  

W = 1460000 J

W = 1.46 *  10⁶ J

therefore work done = 1.46 * 10⁶J

Force = Weight = 1000kg

Displacement= 146

work= 1000× 146
