help of a diagram show the arrangement of prism so that a beam of light entering into the arrangement emerges out as a beam of white light.

By using two similar prisms that is P1 and P2 as shown in figure, one is placed inverted as respect to the other, we will get a narrow beam of white light incident passing through one prism emerges out of the second prism as white light only.

As we know, the angle of deviation produced by a prism depends on the refractive index of the material of prism.

The refractive index of material of prism is different for different colours of light because the speed of different colours is different inside the prism.

Thus, the light of different colours is deviated through different angles, by a prism.
