Your answer is --

Given equations are :-

0.2x + 0.3y = 1.3 .......(1)

0.4x + 0.5y = 2.3

=> 0.4x = 2.3 - 0.5y

=> x = (2.3 - 0.5y)/0.4 ....(2)

substitute value of x in equation (1), we get

0.2 (2.3 - 0.5y)/0.4 + 0.3y = 1.3

=> 2.3 - 0.5y + 0.6y = 2.6

=> 0.1y = 2.6 - 2.3

=> y = 0.3/0.1

=> y = 3

put this value in equation (2), we get

x = (2.3 - 0.5×3)/0.4

=> x = (2.3 - 1.5)/0.4

=> x = 0.8/0.4

=> x = 2

Hence, x = 2 and y = 3
