First of all write down the chemical equation for the thermal dissociation of CaCO3. Under each chemical compound in the reaction indicate the molecular weight expressed as kg. Under the CaCO3 adjust the molar mass by decreasing it and the CaO masses by 5%, reflecting the 95% purity of the carbonate that you have kindly supplied from your homework question. Proportionate the quantities under the CaCO3 to 25 kg and modify the CaO level by the same proportion.
