Help! Please help me identify any mistakes I've done in here. The answer I'm getting is different from that given in key :(

u r doing mistake here...avoid simplifying the whole equation when there is symmetry...because if u simplify this equation then you will get "4 " degree biquadratic equation which is tough to solve...so in this type of questions use substitution method...

like here we can see that "( x^2 + 3x ) is same in both the equation so put this value to another variable it will reduce calculation ..

answer is :-

=) x € (-°° ,-4] U [-2,-1 ] U [ 1 , °°)
