Any two digit number can be written in the form = 10x+y

In this particular case, you have your

x+y=8−−−(1)

After reversing, our number becomes =10y+x

(10x+y)−(10y+x)=18

=>10x+y−10y−x=18

=> 9x−9y=18

=> x−y=2−−−−(2)

Add equation 1 and 2.

x−y=2

x+y=8

=>2x=10

=>x=5

Putting the value of x as 5, we get y as,

=x+y=8

=> 5+y=8

=> y=3

So the number is :

(10∗5)+3=53

Hope this makes ur day better!!

Answer:

GIVEN. THAT

x+y= 8 ( sum of digits of two digit no.)

and - (I)

10x + y - (10y+x) = 18 (difference as per the question)

9x - 9y = 18

x-y = 2 -(II)

now add I AND II

2x = 10

x = 5

and y = 3

no.is 53
