Heya!!!

Answer to your question:

To make it a bit convenient for me, let's take theta=x.
 { \sec(x) }^{2} (1 +  \sin(x) )(1 -  \sin(x) ) = k
 { \sec(x) }^{2} (1 -  { \sin(x) }^{2} ) = k
 { \sec(x) }^{2}  { \cos(x) }^{2}  = k
 \frac{1}{ { \cos(x) }^{2} }  { \cos(x) }^{2}  = k
k = 1

Hope it helps ^_^
