Step-by-step explanation:

ANSWER:-

Given that:-

  • The diameter if the circle as 6 cm.
  • The value of pi as 3.14 or 22/7

Concept:-

Circumference and Area of a Circle.

Let's Do!

Here, preferably we can use the value of pi as 3.14

So, we know that

\sf{Circumference = 2 \times \pi \times r}

  • Where r is the radius.

Here, r will be 3 as Diameter is double the radius.

So, placing the values,

\sf{Circumference = 2 \times \pi \times r}

\sf{Circumference = 2 \times 3.14 \times 3}

\sf{Circumference = 18.84 \ cm}

So, 18.84 cm is the required Circumference.

Diameter of the circle is 6cm.

Thus,radius is 3cm (half of diameter)

Circumferemce= 2×3.14×r

=2×3.14×3

=6.28×3

=18.84 cm
