6) this is a short version.
l//m(bcz ang. a and ang. b are corresponding angles)
m//n(ang. x and ang. y are corresponding angles)
Therefore, l//n

6 (a).
∠ x = ∠ y [ Corresponding angles]
∴ m || n .......................... (1)

Similarly ,
∠ a = ∠ b [ Corresponding angles]

∴ l || m .......................... (2)

From (1) and (2) ,
l || n.

(b) In the figure ,
∠ABC = 65°
∠BCD = 32° + 33° = 65°

∴ ∠ABC = ∠BCD [Alternate Interior angles ]
∴ AB || CD ................................ (1)

∠ CEF = 148°
∠ DCE = 32°
∠ CEF + ∠ DCE = 180°
148° + 32° = 180° [ Interior angles on the same side of the transversal ]

∴ CD || EF ........................................(2)

From (1) and (2) ,
∴ AB || EF

7. AB ||CD
∠ EFC = ∠BEF [Alternate Interior angles ]
as ∠ EFC and ∠BEF are equal , their halves will also be equal.
1/2∠ EFC = 1/2∠BEF
∠EFH = ∠ GEF

∠EFH and ∠ GEF will be the alternate interior angles for EG and Hf with a transversal EF.

∴ EG || HF
