Concept of Vertical line test:

The vertical line test states that a curve in the plane represents the graph of a function if and only if no vertical line intersects it more than once.

Given :

A relation table between x and y

To find:

Using vertical line test verify whether the graph of x,y is a function or not

Solution and answer:

From attached fig(a) is is clear that two vertical lines which are not part of graph intersect the graph at one and only point

Thus it is a function
