Answer:in triangle ABC and ADE:-

Angle a is common

AD/AB=AE/AC (as AD/AB=AE/EC so after the reciprocal if we subtract 1 we would get AD/AB=AE/AC)

hence triangle ADE is similar to triangle ABC and as

angle ADE =angle AED

So angle ABC=angle ACB

Hence equal angle have equal opposite sides so AB=AC and ABC is isosceles triangle
