~What are adjacent angles?

Two angles who have the same vertex and a common side.

~What are verticle angles?

Opposite angles formed when two lines intersect.

~A/Q

3x and 7x are adjacent angles.

3x + 7x = 90

10x = 90

x = 90/10

x = 9

~Finding measure of each angle :-

3x = 3(9) = 27°

7x = 7(9) = 63°

~Answer to question :-

Option (a) adjacent, 27° and 63°

We know that,

Adjacent Angles:- When two angles have the same vertex.

Vertex Angles:- When two lines intersect with each other and are in opposite side.

Here it is clear that the figure given is Adjacent, as two angles meet in the same vertex.

To find:

The measures of the angles.

[Note: Adjacent Angles are equal to 90° ]

A/Q

→3x+7x=90°

→10x=90°

→x=90/10

→x=9

Therefore the two angles are:-

i)3x=3×9=27°

ii)7x=7×9=63°

Verification:

27+63=90

90°=90°

Hence,Verified

Therefore, Option (a) is correct i.e. adjacent,27° and 63°
