Dear Diary,
Today I got to experience a wonderful time with Mumma in Kitchen. Our summer vacations are going on and Mumma cooks delicious food for us every day for which she has to put in a lot of efforts and hard work. Even my friends are crazy fans of her cooking. So, I decided that I would help her in the kitchen and do something interesting. She was making Idli Sambhar for us. At first, Mumma was shocked as well as surprised to see me in the kitchen as she doesn't allow me in kitchen due to safety reasons.
After a small argument and my constant request, she finally agreed to allow me to help her. She was chopping the vegetables for sambhar. She called me and taught how to hold a knife and chop the veggies. I was, fortunately, a good learner. In the meantime, I chopped the veggies she boiled dal(pulse) and prepared the steamer for steaming veggies. After that, she allowed me to mix the batter for Idli with her help. I was enjoying it a lot. Then, I allowed her in preparing the coconut chutney and serving everyone as well. Even Mumma was surprised to see me working like this. It was a lovely experience helping Mumma in the kitchen for the first time.
