So , The Second number is x - 16

x + ( x - 16 ) = 64

➝ x + x = 64 + 16

➝ x + x = 80

➝ 2 x = 80

➝ x = 40

The first number is 40 .

The Second number is x - 16 =

➝ 40 - 16 = 24

So, The Second number is 24 .
