Hello mate,
area of the rectangular part=l*b
=24 m*15m=360m square
Now,
The length of the inner rectangle=24m -1. 5m-1.5m=21 m
The breadth of the inner rectangle=15 -1. 5-1.5=13m
Area of the inner rectangle=l*b=21m*13m=273m square.
So, the area of the path =area of outer rectangle-area of the inner rectangle=360-273m square=87m square
