Area of full figure = area of rectangle + area of trapezium..

area of rectangle = 12×10=120 cm sq.

area of trapezium= 1/2(5+10)×(20-12)

4×15= 60 cm sq.

total area = 120+60 = 180 cm sq.

Step-by-step explanation:

Area of rectangle ABCD = L * B = 12*10=120cm2

Area of Trapezium ADEF =1/2 * (Sum if Parallel Sides) * h

= 1/2 * (5+10)*8

=60 cm2

Area of the given figure = 120 +60 cm2 = 180cm2
