Answer:

parachute effect----- helps cats determine up from down while jumping or falling. Each study by an American Veterinary Medical Association Journal revealed that so many cats who are falling from say round 5.5 stories to at from 32stories,that is sufficient for the terminal velocity to be reached.have a rate of survival at about 90%. It's quite possible for a cat to survive at a terminal velocity which is about  60 miles per hour. The reason is: Once the cats reach their terminal velocity, they are capable to twist their bodies like a gymnast,  skydiver and spin their tails in order to position their feet under their bodies and land on them to reduce impact.
