hema bought two pictures pictures of jeans for rupees 725 each. sheshe sold one of them at a gain of 8% and the other at a loss of 4% find her gain or loss percent on the whole transaction ​

SP OF FIRST JEANS

CP= 725

Gain = 8%

Gain = 8% of 725 = 58

So, SP = CP+G = 725+58= 783

SP OF SECOND JEANS

CP = 725

loss= 4%

loss = 4% of 725 = 29

So, SP = CP-L = 725-29 = 696

Total CP of jeans = 725+725 = 1,450

Total SP of jeans = 783+696= 1,479

Gain = 1450-1479= 29

Gain% 29/1450*100=2%
