Given : Hemanth walks from his house and moves 4 meters towards north. He turns  at 90degrees to his right and moves 3 meters. He takes another 90 degrees turn to the right and walks 1 meter. From here hemanth turns 90 degree to the left and moves for another 1 meter. He finally turns 90 degrees to the right and moves for another 3 meters

To Find : distance between the starting and destination points

Solution:

              NORTH

WEST                         EAST

              SOUTH

4 meters towards north  => North = 4 m

Turn  90 degrees to Right  and moves 3 meters. => EAST  = 3 m

90 degrees turn to the right and walks 1 meter.  => SOUTH = 1 m

turns 90 degree to the left and moves for another 1 meter => EAST = 1 m

turns 90 degrees to the right and moves for another 3 meters => SOUTH = 3 m

North = 4 m  , SOUTH = 1 m SOUTH = 3 m

=> North = 4m , South = 4 m

North = - South

Hence North/South = 0 m

EAST  = 3 m  +  EAST = 1 m  = EAST 4 m

distance between the starting and destination points  = 4 m
