At first Haemoglobin mostly combines with oxygen in the body to form Oxyhaemoglobin. It is found in Erythrocytes(Red Blood Corpuscles).

Actually, Oxygen attaches with the Haemoglobin proteins and iron. It has 4 subunits i.e. 2 alpha and 2 beta subunits. Alpha subunits contains 141 Amino Acids and Beta subunits contains 146 Amino Acids. It molecular mass is 64458 g/moles.
