Hemophilia is caused by a recessive gene on the X chromosome.
A woman whose father was a hemophiliac but who is not one herself marries a normal man.
Cross: X^N Y x X^N X^n



What are their genotypes and what are the possible genotypes and phenotypes of their children? What percentage of their daughters could be expected to be hemophiliac:
expected to be carriers;
what percentage of their sons will be
hemophiliac: carriers?

genotypes

daughters -X^nX^N(carrier) and X^NX^N(normal)

son-X^NY(normal) and X^nY(affected)

so percentages Of daughters to be haemophilic is 0 and percentage of carrier daughter is 50

percentage of son to be haemophilic is also 50 and also sons can't be carriers for haemophilia because they don't have an additional X chromosome
