Given:

Loss = Rs. 15

Selling price (S.P.) = Rs. 500

Find:

loss %

Solution:

We have,

The Cost price (C.P) of the saree.

=> Loss = C.P - S.P

=> 15 = C.P - 500

=> 15 + 500 = C.P

=> 515 = C.P

=> C.P = 515

C.P of the saree is Rs. 515.

The loss % of saree.

=> Loss% = (loss × 100/C.P)

=> Loss% = (15 × 100/515)

=> Loss% = (1500/515)

=> Loss% = 2.91 %

Hence, the Loss % of saree is 2.91% .

I hope it will help you.

Regards.

Answer:

Base and height.

A = 1/2 b × h (where b = base , h = height)

Three side.

A = √s(s - a)(s - b)(s - c) (where a, b and c are the length of the side)

Two sides and including angle (where a, b and two sides and c is the angle between them.)

Equilateral triangle

A = S² × √3/4 (where s = side)
