Henry cut a piece of yarn that was 11/6 feet long into two pieces.List two different pairs of fractions that could show the lengths ,in feet , of the two pieces.Explain how you found your pairs of fractions.

Since henry cut a piece of yarn in to two pieces, it could be in any ratio such as  Let me assume that Henry cut the  yarn in to two equal pieces , so the ratio of two pieces is equal to 1:1

Let the length of each piece be x

Therefore 2x=11÷6

               x=11÷12 feet long

Therefore the length of each piece is 11÷12 feet long , we could also try for different ratios and follow the same procedure as mentioned above to find the length of different pieces that were cut by Henry.
