Thus, probability = number of favourable outcomes / total number of possible outcomes.

Number of favourable outcomes is 1 i.e. occurrence of head out of head and tail. Thus, 1.

Total possible outcomes is head + tail. Thus, 2.

Probability = 1/2

Probability = 0.5.
