Answer:

To earn God's grace and mercy, It's entirely up to you, it's a choice you can make using the gift of your free will. But be careful, the decision you make of how you live this temporary life, will determine your eternal life forever.

This is the point of life.

Your life purpose consists of the central motivating aims of your life—the reasons you get up in the morning. Purpose can guide life decisions, influence behavior, shape goals, offer a sense of direction, and create meaning. For some people, purpose is connected to vocation—meaningful, satisfying work.

Happiness is itself the goal, there is no point or purpose to it.... Life is existence – not a goal to search a point. And once you can understand this your ways of living will change totally, because if there is no purpose or point in life itself there is no need to create a purpose for your individual life also – no need.

Explanation:

The point of life is that there is no point. Most people think that life follows a certain point that everyone has to follow or that affects everyone, but such a thing does not exist.

What does exist is a different meaning that each and every one of us gives life!

There are a million different answers for this question that has plagued humanity since we had a brain big enough to conceive this question. But if you look on the web you will find that everyone has their own answer!

Look at all the big philosophers, the leaders of the world and your own heroes and realize that they all have a completely different way of viewing the meaning of life and the point of life!

There are so many different answers that you will always find something new whenever you ask this question. Just know that when you still feel the need to look for an answer, you haven’t found it yourself yet, and looking at the meaning other people give their lives is rather pointless.

In the end, you have to come up with your own answer!

Realize what truly matters to you!

One of my favorite things to tickle the answer out of my clients is to ask them to imagine the following scenario:

Imagine you are lying in bed. You get very comfortable underneath the covers, relax, and slowly fall asleep. Everything is great. In fact, you feel terrific!

When you get very comfortable you open your eyes and find yourself at the age of 98 in a hospital bed.

You look around and find the people that mean the most to you standing right there around you. Your children, parents, friends and loved ones are all there to see you off as they know this is going to be your final hour. You look back at your life and find that you accomplished everything you wanted to. You fulfilled all your dreams, went all the places and experienced everything you did.

You are rich, happy, fulfilled and left nothing undone. You smile at that thought.

As you think about this you notice someone shifting around next to you. You look around and see the person that means the most to you is eager to ask you something.

When they speak they only ask this: “You accomplished everything you wanted to in your life. You went to all the amazing places, saw all the wonders of the world, reached success in everything you wanted to, changed the lives of millions and even changed the world. But, at the end of it all, what really mattered to you?”

I want you to think hard about this. Take your time to really imagine the scenario, and ask yourself what the one thing is that made your life worth living at the end of it all. Was it the fact that you got rich beyond belief? Was it the fact that you made others cry tears of joy? Or was it the happiness you had to share?

This is easier said than done. Do not say anything logical, but instead really think about this and keep searching around you until you find something that awakens some emotion inside of you.

In the end, the point of life is whatever you give it. But to figure that out you must look deep within you and search! And even if it takes you a dozen years to find, it will be worth it in the end!
