Herbarium is a place where dead and decaying PLANT SPECIMENS are stored. Where are in museums you can find both dead and decaying PLANT and ANIMAL SPECIMENS. A sheet is used to mount the dead plant and some chemicals are applied on it. Whereas in museums most of the animal specimens are completely stored in chemicals.
