Answer: Herbivares have longer small intestine because they eat green plants that contains cellulose, which are hard to break. So in their small intestine along with their own glands, many microbes are also present that secrets the enzymes to help break the cellulose.

Herbivores eat grass which contain cellulose that is hard to digest and takes more time while on other hand carnivorous eat meat which is easier to digest so that's why herbivores have longer small intestine than Carnivores
