The the herbivorous animal eats grasses which is made up of cellulose so for the digestion of cellulose they have longer small intestine
but in case of carnivorous animals they eat flesh or meat which can be digested easily so they have shorter small intestine

Herbivores eating grass need a longer small intestine to allow the cellulose to be digested. Whereas Meat is easier to digest, hence carnivores like tiger have shorter small intestine.
