here are 250 questions in an examination on each right answer a student get 3 marks and on each wrong answer. 0.5 marks deducted Find the number of wrong questions answered by him, if in whole exam he get 477 marks?

Getting marks 477 then these marks are subtracted from 750 then(750–477=273)

If one question wrong we will loose (3.5 marks)because every wrong answer penality 0.5 mark and we didn't get 3 marks also if question wrong that's why we loose (3.5 marks)

Then getting marks are divided by 3.5 (477/3.5=136)

Last step total questions -wrong answer questions. (250–136=114)

So that answer will be 136 questions answered wrongly...
