Pls put up the flow chart even so that i can answer  properly.

btw, The imp events during digestion are:

  • Chewing and mixing of Saliva in food: along with breakdown of carbohydrates in starch
  • Peristalsis
  • Churning of food in stomach: HCl acts on food and Pepsin digests the Proteins.
  • Secretion of Bile Juices and Pancreatic Juices in food at Duodenum
  • Complete breakdown of food in Small Intestine: Carbohydrates in Glucose, Proteins into amino acids, Fats into fatty acids and glycerol.
  • Absorption of these simpler substances by Villi
  • Absorption of water in Large Intestine.
  • Storage of semi solid undigested waste in Rectum.
  • Defecation of this Waste through Anus.

These are imp events in digestions.

Hope it helps for the flowchart, And mark me as the branliest.

Thank u.
