We have ,

12% of X = 6% of Y

=> 2% of X = 1% of Y

=>(2 x 9)% of X = ( 1 x 9)% of Y

Thus, 18% of X = 9% of Y.

Answer:

150%

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the first number be x

We are given that The second term is 20% more than the first

So, Second number = x+\frac{20}{100}=1.2 x

We are also given that  The third term is 80% more than the first

So,Third number = x+\frac{80}{100}=1.8 x

Now we are supposed to find % of the second term is the third?

=\frac{1.8x}{1.2x} \times 100

=150\%

Hence third term is 150% of second number .
