ii. Naina is selling toffees at 3 for Rs 5/-. How much would 9 toffees cost?
Do
you think that children would find these two problems equally difficult or is one easier
than the other at 6-standard? Try explaining your answer carefully.

Step-by-step explanation:

I) If 3 toffees=Rs.6

Then,One toffee= 6/3=2

Hence 9 toffees= 9×2=Rs.18

ii)If 3 toffees=Rs.5

Then,One toffee=5/3

Hence 9 toffees= 9×5/3=Rs.15

The first question would be fairly easier for an average 6th grader than the second one as the second problem envolves fractions or decimals
