The merchent of Venice is an act written by Shakespeare, the whole story totally revolves around the main characters like Antonio ,bassanio.shylock,Portia,gratiano,salarino,salario,tubel,nerrisa,Jessica,Lorenzo,prince of Morocco,prince of arrogon.the main theme of this story is the friendship between Antonio and bassanio, the funny bond of shylock,casket selection,marriage of bassanio and gratiano aswell as Lorenzo with Portia ,nerissa and Jessica respectively,lesson learnt by shylock and disguise ment of Portia nad nerrisa in the court scene..
