Dimensions of a rectangular place :

Length (L) = 14 m,

Breadth(B) = 9 m,

Dimensions of the pond:

Length (l) = 3.8 m,

Breadth (b) = 2.4 m

Area of the garden

= Area of the place - Area of the pond

= 14 × 9 - 3.8 × 2.4

= 126 - 9.12

= 116.88

It is given that,

15m² garden covered by 1 box of seeds

116.88 garden needs = ?

 Number \:of \: seed \: boxes \: required

=\frac{116.88}{15}

= 7.792

\approx 8

Therefore.,

 Number \:of \: seed \: boxes \: required

= 8
