Answer:

0.5

Step-by-step explanation:

1. Take the numbers and put them in order from least (the smallest number) to greatest (the biggest number)

2. Once the numbers are put in order, they will be -18, -17, -8, -5, -2, 3, 4, 13, 14, 16

3. Then you cross off one number from each side and repeat doing that until only one or two numbers are left

4. -18, -17, -8, -5, -2, 3, 4, 13, 14, 16

5. -17, -8, -5, -2, 3, 4, 13, 14

6. -8, -5, -2, 3, 4, 13

7. -5, -2, 3, 4

8. -2, 3

9. You are now left with -2 and 3

10. Now you write down the numbers between -2 and 3

11. -2, -1, 0, 1, 2, 3

12. You now repeat the same process as is says by (3.)

13. -1, 0, 1, 2

14. 0, 1

15. Now since you are left with 2 numbers that are right by each other, you will have to use decimals, so what it right in between 0 and 1 is 0.5
