The line is in increasing order so it will continue on from smallest to tallest.
And David can see the back of Charlie's head so he is standing behind Charlie.
Two children standing behind Bob are David and Charlie.
Now it has been clearly mentioned that Amy is shorter than Bob.
So ,the sequence is Amy , Bob ,Charlie and David.
And that's how a riddle is solved .
Hope it Helps.

Your question is to find the sequence in which the children are standing.

Answer: 1st Amy, 2nd Bob, 3rd Charlie and 4th David

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the following depict the arrangement, where 1 is the shortest and 4 is the tallest child.

                                        1<2<3<4

Given that two children are standing behind Bob.

As two children are standing behind Bob, he is standing in the second position.

Given that Amy is shorter than Bob.

As Amy is shorter than Bob, she is standing in the first position.

Given that David can see the back of Charlie's head.

As David can see the back of Charlie's head, he is standing behind him and hence, is in the fourth position.

Thus, the order in which the children are standing is:

1st Amy, 2nd Bob, 3rd Charlie, 4th David
