Here is an Ap: 10,13,…, 94
finding the sum of first 14 terms: S14=14/2 [2*10+ (14-1) 3] = 413
S14=14/2 (10+94) = 728
why are there 2 different answers?

Because one of them is wrong

cattie2: sorry
cattie2: I typed wrong
hadukahit: So what's the problem?
cattie2: second one sum is wrong you can check it
cattie2: and first one sum is right
hadukahit: Ok so 14/2 = 2 and 10+94=104. So 14/2(104) = 728.
hadukahit: I still can't get it right. Please help.
cattie2: I'm trying
cattie2: but I can't get it right
hadukahit: Ok. I am also trying.
