Kirchoff's laws are simply the expressions of conservation of electric charge and of energy . These laws are stated as follows :

=> Kirchoff's first law states that the sum of currents meeting at a point in an electrical circuit is always zero . This law is known as junction rule . It supports law of conservation of charge .

=> Kirchoff's second law states that in any closed part of electric circuit , the algebraic sum of emf is equal to the algebraic sum of product of resistance and current flowing through them . This is called loop rule .
