as the iron rod is inserted the magnetic field inside the coil magnetized the increasing the magnetic field inside it hence the induction inductance of the coil increases consequently the inductive reactance of the coil increases as a result a large fraction of the applied AC voltage appears across the inductor leaving less voltage across the bulb therefore the glow of light bulb decreases

c) the light of the bulb will remain unchanged because since metals are good conductors of current therefore it will allow the current to flow through it . And hence the current is remained unchanged
